This personal project was done during Covid 19, a time that created distance between people in more ways than one. For three years my best friend and I had been finding ways to stay connected, one of which was exchanging art. In this project I took photos of buildings around where I lived and around where she and I used to live and collaged them with edits of our faces. Typography and colour choices were made based on our juxtaposing personalities and the ways that we express ourselves. Bringing together contrasting elements against a common background creates a symbolic representation of our relationship.
